Christine M Kleinhenz of Tide Watcher lives and plays in Juneau, Alaska. One of her favorite times of year is when the silver salmon are running so she can wade hip deep into the water and cast for hours. Christine finds the connection to the ocean in those moments so peaceful. She and her family explore the wild places at their doorstep, where Christine uses nature as inspiration for her paintings and is particularly intrigued with painting underwater scenes. She has graciously agreed to create a custom backdrop for an “Under the Sea” Photo Booth that will be featured at the JEDC booth at this year’s Maritime Festival on May 4th.
