How can I become a leader for change in my community and in Alaska?

Coalitions are groups of people with a common goal that feel that they could not influence a difference or change independently, but with the support of others are successful together at encouraging change to make a difference in our communities and State.  The following are mostly Alaskan coalitions working to promote topics such as aging in place, workforce development, improved benefits, and funding.  Coalitions do not always require an individual to be associated with an organization to become a member, most often coalitions are eager to accept people who have a genuine interest in the concerns being addressed by the coalition.  Be a catalyst for change and join a coalition.
