Tlingit-Haida Regional Housing Authority (THRHA) Tribal Heating Assistance Program

Tribal Heating Assistance is available to assist lower income households, disabled, or individuals over 60+ year, for an one time payment towards heating fuel or electricity through three tribal associations in SE Alaska: Tlingit-Haida Regional Housing Authority (THRHA), Yakutat Tlingit Tribe (YTT), and Sitka Tribe of Alaska. The program for THRHA provides heating assistance to all residents in Angoon, Craig, Hoonah, Hydaburg, Kake, Kassan, Ketchikan. Klawock, Klukwan, Metlakatla, Pelican, and Saxman. The program only services native residents in the following communities: Douglas, Haines, Juneau, Petersburg, Skagway, Tenakee, and Wrangell. Program participants can only accept heating assistance from one program.
