We invite you to support this exciting community event honoring an important local industry. This event would not be possible without the help of our supporters. All expenses are covered through the financial contributions of our sponsors. Major expenses include advertising, equipment rental, and professional time spent coordinating and promoting the Festival.

(Note: your contribution to the Juneau Maritime Festival via JEDC is not tax deductible as a charitable contribution. Businesses may deduct advertising as a normal business operating expense.)

Volunteer at the Juneau Maritime Festival!

The Juneau Maritime Festival is a great way for local organizations to provide an added hand for a well-loved community event. This event is completely volunteer run with the support of the Juneau Economic Development Council and our Festival sponsors.

There are many ways that you or your organization can help make the Festival a great event, including:

 

Set up and Tear Down

  •  Join us the day before or the day of the festival and assist with setting up/taking down tents and tables, directing vendors, and getting everything ready for the big day!

Festival Duties

    • Answer general questions and direct festival attendees
    • Sell raffle tickets
    • Assist at the Beer Garden “Seaside Suds” (must be TAPS certified)
